Pear and Walnut Salad



Pear and Walnut Salad

serves 4
2 bosc pears thinley sliced
1/2 cup of walnuts halved
1 small pkg of blue cheese
1 small bunch of watercrest or arugala
1 1/2 heads of boston lettuce
1 vadalia onion thinley sliced
olive oil and white vinegar


The only cooking here is to heat up the walnuts - slightly toast them in a pan


put this salad together once the nuts are toasted by layering - one piece of lettuce, a couple of slices of the pears, sprinkle with the blue cheese and some onions, arugala and/or watercrest and repeat - at the end put the walnuts on around the salad and hit with olive oil and white vinegar
