Pan Seared Cajun catfish Fillets
Ingredients
2 tbs oil or genourous amount
1 tsp sea salt
1 tsp of garlic powder
1 tsp cracked black pepper
1tsp of cajun spice
1/2 tsp of cayennes
1/2 tsp of paprika (smoked)
catfish filets
How to make it
thaw and dry off filets
dry rub one side of filets with salt, pepper, cajun spice. garlic powder, and smoked paprika
place spiced side down onto pan
follow step number 2 for alternate side.
cook about 3-5 minutes on each side depending on thickness of fish
lightly dust with cayenne before serving. ( do not want to cook cayenne in hot oil, may need a gas mask! )
