Pan Seared Cajun catfish Fillets
Ingredients
- 2 tbs oil or genourous amount
- 1 tsp sea salt
- 1 tsp of garlic powder
- 1 tsp cracked black pepper
- 1tsp of cajun spice
- 1/2 tsp of cayennes
- 1/2 tsp of paprika (smoked)
- catfish filets
How to make it
- thaw and dry off filets
- dry rub one side of filets with salt, pepper, cajun spice. garlic powder, and smoked paprika
- place spiced side down onto pan
- follow step number 2 for alternate side.
- cook about 3-5 minutes on each side depending on thickness of fish
- lightly dust with cayenne before serving. ( do not want to cook cayenne in hot oil, may need a gas mask! )
