pesce bianco - in English its called Whiting - we call it Merluzzo

This fish is so good for you and really taste great - For a fish lover you must try this - I made this for my babies in a pastina - nutrients and taste -

All I did was boil about 2 cups of water (no the baby didn't eat it all - I had some too) (good for the breast milk)
Add a vegetable boullion with a tsp of olive oil
simmer 5 minutes - add one or two cleaned fresh merluzzos and cook 10 minutes - add baby pastina and when pasta done - the soup is cooked,
Remove the spines from the fish and the fish will break into little medallions - you may garnish for yourself because you are a CHEF LOL with parsley -

if the baby is over a year you can chop up parsley and add to their soup as well, after all they are the child of a CHEF - they need to know whats right is right

Small Fish that look like smelts but they are Merluzzo or white fish (whiting)  which are best about 6 inches long


This has nothing to do with sleeping with the fishes OKAY - unless you want it to

Fish coating - Cajun style
Corn Meal and a zip lock bag
Oil to fry - I use veg or corn oil

3 - 4 per person served with veggies i.e swiss chard and/or green beans (flat) cooked with tomatoe and onion and rice is perfecto

Coat cleaned fish with the dry mixture
they are very easy to clean, just cut the heads off and split down stomach and remove guts or HERES An IdEa - Ask your Fish Monger to do it LOL

heat oil and place fish in - turn after about 8 to 10 minutes and they are done crisp to perfection.  They are delightful and if you like a fish that doesn't taste fishy then this is the fishy for you.
